Itaewon
Itaewon has long been home to many foreign residents, so restaurants and shops from all over the world sit side by side here. On the hill, the Seoul Central Mosque — Korea’s first mosque — is surrounded by halal restaurants and grocery stores. Small restaurants and cafes also line Gyeongnidan-gil, toward Noksapyeong Station.
Hannam-dong
Between Itaewon and Hangangjin stations, Hannam-dong is a stylish neighborhood of design stores, concept shops, galleries and cafes along sloping streets. Walk between Itaewon Station and Hangangjin Station (both on Line 6) to see it all.
